Shear Standards of Grooming offers a variety of training classes and public events from at-home grooming maintenance to specialty coats and styles. Classes are held at the Shear Standards of Grooming salon in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, located just off Highway 30.

  • Donate Life Month Fundraiser for The Dragonfly Transplant Fund

    EARN TICKETS TO BE ENTERED TO WIN A FREE GROOM!

    ANY GROOMING APPOINTMENT EARNS YOU ONE TICKET between March 1st and March 31st. Make a donation of $5 or more to earn additional tickets! 

    All proceeds will be donated to The Dragonfly Transplant Fund in honor of Donate Life Month in April. 

    DETAILS: Promotion runs March 1 through March 31, 2026. Grooming value up to $180. Donations are accepted via cash or check during normal business hours or debit/credit card at the time of service.

  • Dog Wash Day to benefit Cedar Valley Humane Society

    We’re hosting a Dog Wash Day to raise funds for the Cedar Valley Humane Society!

    This summer, bring your four-legged friends for a fun morning of soapy suds, tail wags, and community love. The event will be held in July 2026.

    But this isn’t just a dog wash - it’s a parking lot party! Join us for music, food, games, and giveaways. All proceeds from the event will go directly to our friends with the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
